Each week people across Cheshire pay tribute to their loved ones by placing funeral notices and family announcements in the Chester Chronicle.

We have gathered the messages submitted by friends, family and loved ones over the past week. These provide comfort to the nearest and dearest of those who have passed away.

née McMaster Peacefully in Chester on 24th April, aged 94. Darling wife of the late Dennis, loved mum of Susan, mother-in-law of Andrew, loved grandma of Richard and Rebecca and in-laws Bethany and Martin, loving great-gran of Isaac, Arthur and Dorothy.

Funeral to be held on Wednesday 12th May at 1pm at Wesley Methodist Church, Chester followed by cremation. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if wished to Arthritis Action.

Kathleen ROBINSON

“KATE” On Monday 26th April 2021, peacefully in Belong Care Home, Kate aged 95 years. Dearly loved Wife of the late Ron, much loved Mother of David, Andrew and Louise and a loving Granny and Great-Granny. Kate will be missed greatly and remembered fondly by all her family and friends.

Due to current restrictions a private Funeral Service is to take place. Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of St George’s Street Baptist Church, Macclesfield.

Herbert Reginald NODEN

Reg Peacefully and in the loving care of Hollymere Nursing Home, Reg passed away 75 years old. Loving Dad of Virginia and Son in Law Kevin, cherished Grandad of Ethan, Brother to Edward, Brother in Law to Jo and Simon, Uncle to Melanie and Nathanial, Ex Husband to Pam, Son of the late Dorothy and Samuel. Son In Law of the late Joan and Fred.

Peter BANKS

Passed away peacefully at home, aged 87 years. Peter, of Nantwich, the beloved husband of Beryl, dearly loved dad of Sandra, Alan, Gillian, the late David and Michael, also a much loved Grandad and Great Grandad.

John Allen DALE

Sadly passed away on 22nd April 2021, aged 79 years. Much loved husband of Ann, devoted dad to Julie and Angela and grandad to Emily, Luke and Grace. John will be truly and deeply missed by all family and friends.

Brian GEORGE

Brian of Nantwich, sadly passed away aged 94 years, beloved husband of Anne, much loved Dad of Simon and Jeremy, Father in law to Nicky and Sandra and dear Grandpa to William, Thomas, Lizzie, Joshua and Julian. Thirty six years retired dentist and local Historian of Nantwich, greatly missed.

A private cremation will be held followed by a service at Aston Methodist Church on Monday 10th May 2021 at 12.15pm. Only a limited number of people are allowed but anyone wishing to make a donation in Brian’s memory can do so for St. Luke’s Hospice.

Ruth Margaret HARRISON

With much sadness we announce the passing of Ruth aged 87 years, a wonderful Christian lady who was so caring and kind to so many.

Ruth’s funeral will take place at St. James The Great Church, Audlem on Thursday 6th May at 12 noon. Only a limited number of people can attend but anyone wishing to make a donation in Ruth’s memory can do so for the Church and Barnardo’s as was her request.

Died peacefully at home with his family aged 70 years. Bryn was the dearly loved husband to Carol and brother to Alan he will be so sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.

Peacefully passed away on Friday April 30th 2021 whilst in the care of Lawton Manor Nursing Home Alsager, Eileen aged 91 years of Alsager. The much beloved wife of the late Lionel, much loved and loving mum of Alison, Joy and the late Michelle and dear mum in law to Glyn and Ken, treasured nana of Daniel, Stephanie, Philip, Joe, Megan, Hannah and Lucy, great-nana to Nelly, Albie and Freya, also a dear sister, auntie, cousin and friend.

Funeral service will take place at St Mary Magdalene’s Church Alsager on Monday May 17th 2021 at 10:15am, prior to cremation at Bradwell Crematorium.
