Cheshire weather this week as heatwave set to scorch UK

After enjoying a sun-soaked weekend, many people will now be wondering if the warm weather is set to stick around.

According to Met Office forecasters, the county is in store for a week of good weather – including plenty of sun – with today set to sizzle with highs of 29C.

For those wanting some refuge from the sun, there will also be cloudy spells throughout the week with temperatures cooling on Wednesday and Thursday, before rising ahead of next weekend.
