Macclesfield Festival is returning to Cheshire this Summer with headline DJ sets, music and activities for all the family to enjoy.
The festival will be held on Saturday, August 14, at Macclesfield RUFC in Priory Park, on Priory Lane in Macclesfield.
The event is suitable for all the family and includes activities for all generations, such as live music stages, dance tents, market stalls and much more.
Artists on the main stage include Rowetta and a DJ Set from Happy Monday’s Bez.
There is also a Macclesfield rocks tribute artist stage, including performances from tribute acts such as The Oasis Experience and Happy Mondays tribute Appy Mondays.
Macclesfield Festival 2021 will feature a giant outdoor funfair and a kids zone including inflatables, an assault course and face painting.
There is also a kids entertainment stage, featuring a Little Mix tribute act, a magic show and themed shows featuring characters such as Mary Poppins and superheroes.
Visitors can also enjoy food and drink from a variety of stalls on the site throughout the day.
The first Macclesfield Festival was held in 2017, attracting over 7,500 people from across the North West.
In 2018, the festival was headlined by The Happy Mondays, Brand New Heavies and The Farm. This was followed by a line-up including Soul to Soul and Heather Smalls in 2019.
Macclesfield Festival is organised by Monopoly Events, whose popular festivals and conventions include Comic Con Liverpool, For the Love of Horror, For the Love of Sci Fi, Comic Con Manchester and Comic Con Scotland.
