The famous faces spotted out and about in Cheshire

Cheshire has seen its fair share of famous faces over the years.

Actors and actresses, singers and musicians, footballers and royalty have all been spotted in the county.

Some celebrities have been in the county for work, while others have been enjoying some down time.

On one occasion, an eagle-eyed member of the public spotted the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in Chester.

Another time, Hollywood actor Kiefer Sutherland was spotted enjoying a night out in Hoole.

Take a look below at some of the times famous faces have been spotted around Cheshire.

Released in February 2019, the eight-part series featured a whole host of famous actors.

Bean is known for his roles in Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings, so it was no surprise that residents recognised him immediately.

Other actors spotted at the time of filming included Billy Zane (Titanic) and Adrian Lester (Riviera, Hustle).

However, it was confirmed that the star of 24 payed a visit to the Shanghai Chinese restaurant on Hoole Road.

Sutherland posed for photographs with fellow diner Nicky Wilson and her family.

William and Kate were spotted in Cheshire back in November 2017.

The royal couple were spotted at Chester’s Carriage Shed before boarding a train to London.

William and Kate, who was in the early stages of pregnancy Prince Louis at the time, were travelling with their elder children George and Charlotte and missed their original train at 2.33pm, leaving them to get on an ‘empty’ train to Crewe 10 minutes later.
