Vaccine take-up among over 40s in Cheshire compared to rest of England

Latest estimates of the proportion of people aged 40 and over in Cheshire compared to the rest of England who have received either a booster or third dose of Covid-19 vaccine have been compiled.

The figures have been drawn up by the PA news agency using NHS England data for vaccinations up to December 12 and population figures from the Office for National Statistics, which are the best publicly available official estimates.

They show Cheshire East Council and Cheshire West and Chester have the same rate of vaccinations – which is the highest proportion in the county. Halton Council, meanwhile, has the lowest proportion.

The rate is marginally different in the highest – and lowest – vaccinated areas of Cheshire. All Cheshire authorities are in bold.

The list is ordered by percentage starting with the highest, and reads, from left to right: name of local authority; number of people aged 40 and over resident in the local authority who have received an extra dose; estimated percentage of people aged 40 and over resident in the local authority who have received an extra dose.
